Job Description:An important sales role which will contribute directly to the profitability of Verentia. Verentia is a Indian manufacturer of LED lighting solutions specialising in Medical, Infrastructure and Horticulture, UV as well as wider, less obvious, market applications. Your role will be focused on sales and business development. Producing new business from existing clients, many of whom are already interested in our Medical LED lighting offering, and new clients whilst identifying other potential opportunities will be a key duty of the role making this an exciting and challenging role with fantastic development opportunities. You will be in charge of warm face-to-face meetings with new clients and prospects. It is a role that will require extensive knowledge of the product. You will form consultative sales relationships with key accounts and foster these for long-term benefit and be in charge of passing enquires onto the Internal Sales Team as appropriate. You will be expected to attend to leads in a proactive manner, record the results and prepare information for the line manager. Outstanding presentation skills, Good written skills to produce professional reports and quotes. KEY RESPONSIBLIITIES Contact and develop prospective and existing clients. Maintain professional standards of appearance, manner, discipline and work. To work to the activity targets set prospecting for new clients. To take incoming calls from prospective and existing clients. To follow up on any enquiries in a timely manner. To keep abreast of all new products. To provide any technical advice and information as requested. To arrange for the correct literature and technical information is sent out as requested. To up date the sales database and make sure that quotation logs are kept up dated. To make sure that that all existing customers in your remit are contacted standardly keep-uping company profile and develop relationships with key clients. Make sure that that the activity targets set for proactive sales are achieved. Produce reports as directed/requested. Make sure that colleagues are up dated with relevant information and feedback is constructive. Compliance with Company Policies and Company Health and Safety procedures. On occasion, be willing to be flexible regarding the start and finish times to meet particular, foreseen or unforeseen Work with Project Managers, Architects, customers, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, SMEs and other team members to design product solutions. Participation in product design reviews to understand the design specification of the product, its architecture and implementation details Deep grasp of product functionality and its architecture is necessary to design high quality product and systems and for making recommendations for product improvement. Make sure that that solutions are defined for all requirements, solutions are agreed to by the business and customer/consultant teams, options are provided for changes and all functional design is documented and delivered to an exceptional quality and is consistent across deliverables. Consult with various stakeholders to review project proposals to determine goals time-frame, and procedures for accomplishing tasks allotment of resources. Carry out kick off calls with the customer to understand their exact requirement, priority and site readiness status. Able to proactively identify important issues or risks, seeks the appropriate level of guidance and advice to make sure that delivery of quality outcomes. Participate in initiatives to improve standard business engineering practices benchmarking of competitor products, process and prices Ability to effectively communicate requirements and deliverables needed for successful implementation and issue resolution is critical to the role. Release all reports in agreed format and timelines Coordinate and respond to requests for changes from original specifications. Support customer in design, BOQ and drawings and offer preparation to make sure that profitability is intact. Risk and Opportunity assessment. Tracking project deliverables using the appropriate CRM and Automation tools on a daily basis.
