As part of a large scale community-based trial on effect of emolliation on neonatal mortality rate, funded by the Gates Foundation, we are looking for a research assistant with a BAMS degree, preferably with some academic research experience in Kaumarabhritya.
Demonstrated track record of exceptional performance in academics. Research experience in team environments with publications is highly preferred. Should be able to work under minimal guidance within a team.

As part of this project, you will assist in conducting an in-depth literature review of Ayurvedic Sanskrit texts on topics of newborn skin, newborn skin care practices, and potential oils for use as emollient. You will participate in protocol development and assist in writing manuscripts.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team consisting of social scientists, basic scientists, physician researchers, traditional medicine researchers, etc.
